Students from Staverton Ju-Jitsu had their first grading under Chief Instructor

Phil Arlett 2nd Dan. The grading commenced at 10am under

the guidance of Grand Master Den Butler 8th Dan, also on the grading panel were

Mike Hudd 2nd Dan and Sensei Josh Smith 3rd Dan

John Head and Bruce Douglas, Bruce recieved a medal

and certificate for the best senior grading of the day.

Junior students prior to taking their gradings. Carly Silcocks was

presented with a medal and certificate for the best grading on the day.

A special presentation of Honorary Black Belt was presented to Mr Ralph Arlett

without whom Staverton Ju-Jitsu would not have got off the ground.

Four students who missed their grading in January (due to holidays) passed their grading

at the Melksham Dojo on Friday 19th February 2010

JAMES ATTEWELL was awarded 6th Kyu, Blue Belt

MATTIE MANTAY was awarded 3rd Kyu, purple/2 white stripes

MILES MANTAY was awarded 3rd Kyu, Purple/2 white stipes

LUCY DIGGINS was awarded 1st Kyu, Brown Belt/Back stripe
