Saturday 9^th June 2007

Junior Back Belt gradings were held at the main Dojo in Melksham, attempting the exam were Shane Woodley (attempting 1^st Degree Black Belt in Ju Jitsu) and Josh Smith, (attempting 2^nd Degree Black Belt Ju Jitsu), Kris Suckling was attempting 1^st Kyu.

All candidates are 14 years old, so their grades are recognised as `Junior`.

Everyone had to perform techniques from the syllabus ranging from basics to advanced, nothing was spared. The gradings lasted over 3 hours after which the candidates had to leave the Dojo whilst the panel collated the marks and discussed each persons performance.

Shane Woodley was promoted to Junior 1^st Degree Black Belt.

Josh Smith was promoted to Junior 2^nd Degree Black Belt Cadet Leader.

Kris Suckling impressed the grading panel so much, that he was promoted to

Junior 1^st Degree Black Belt.
